Sea Salt Cottage

It’s a beautiful, well-maintained home in an incredible beachfront location. The faucet was shaky at check-in but was quickly repaired and replaced—an inconvenience, but not a major one.The bigger issue was active construction immediately next door. Hearing an electric saw in the morning while trying to enjoy the beach was a real nuisance. We come to Navarre for the peace, and I wish this had been disclosed before booking.A great surprise was the utility closet under the house, stocked with beach chairs, umbrellas, a buggy, and other beach gear. The host should photograph and list these items so guests know what to bring.Communication was generally responsive, but at times felt passive-aggressive, especially when a question was repeated. When I asked for the address the night before our trip, it took over 24 hours to receive it, along with a reminder that it had been sent earlier. With guests flying in and me driving, I needed prompt address information, not to search old messages.The house itself is magnificent: ocean views from nearly everywhere, two large ocean-facing bedrooms, a glass-filled living room, unobstructed balcony views, thoughtful furnishings, and a well-stocked kitchen. Some guests found the mattresses hard, but that was minor.Would I return? Probably yes, but not at this price. At a premium price, I expect a premium experience, including better disclosure and warmer communication. The house is exceptional; the customer experience could be better.

Sea Salt Cottage is a beautiful property! This was our second stay.. and we plan to return in the future! The house is well stocked with everything you might need.. from the kitchen to the bedroom and bathrooms and even to the beach! The cottage has an amazing view of the beach (beautifully maintained) which is accessible by its own boardwalk. 10/10 would recommend!!
